The track draws inspiration from the legendary poem Grande Valse Brillante by Julian Tuwim, written over 70 years ago and performed in many iconic versions. MC Walzer brings it into the reality of 2024, translating it into contemporary youth language while preserving its emotional depth.
The music video takes us on a hypnotic journey through Walzer’s world – a mix of memories, urban chaos, and reflections on time. We move through a decayed palace, where a decadent party is in full swing, then shift to an intimate cinema, where Walzer watches a film about his own life. Flashbacks blend with reality, creating a visual puzzle full of symbolism.
Neon lights, nighttime Warsaw, a Barcelona beach at dawn, the Old Town’s narrow streets – all these locations serve as the backdrop for a modern reinterpretation of a timeless classic.
