MC WALZER – AI GENERATED ARTIST

“MC Walzer” is an experimental art project created during my work on a documentary film about Julian Tuwim.
The project centers around a fictional young Polish rapper whose song, based on Tuwim’s Grande Valse Brillante, was entirely generated using AI tools. From transforming the original poem into youth slang, to composing the music and producing a video clip, the entire artistic identity of MC Walzer was constructed with the help of generative technologies. It explores how a non-existent artist can inhabit digital space and interact with real audiences across platforms.
The inspiration was Grande Valse Brillante – a legendary poem from Tuwim’s Polish Flowers, previously interpreted musically by artists such as Ewa Demarczyk and Filip Bajon. I decided to give it a fresh form by transforming it into a modern reggae-style track with youth-oriented lyrics and contemporary rhythm.
With the help of ChatGPT, I reinterpreted the poem into colloquial, streetwise slang and generated an entirely new song using AI-powered music tools. The result felt so vivid that I decided the song needed a face—and thus MC Walzer was born: a 23-year-old Polish virtual rapper with a backstory, voice, and style.
Building a Digital Identity
Walzer was given a full identity. I created portrait images of him using AI visual tools, produced a full-length music video available on YouTube, launched an official website, and set up social media profiles.
Releasing the Single
The single GVB (Grande Valse Brillante) is available on all major music streaming platforms, including:
🎧 Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, and more.

An AI-Generated Music Video and BTS Film
The music video for GVB was entirely created using generative AI tools—from the animated visuals to scene composition and character motion. It blends surreal urban aesthetics with emotional rhythm, bringing the lyrics to life through AI-generated environments and lighting. Alongside the music video, I also produced a behind-the-scenes (BTS) short film that documents how the clip was made—also fully AI-generated. Both videos are available on YouTube and serve as a visual extension of the project’s core question: how far can artificial intelligence take us in artistic storytelling?
Art, AI, and Virtual Presence
MC Walzer is more than just a track. It’s an exploration of authorship, identity, and creative presence in the age of artificial intelligence.
Can a fictional artist—born purely out of code and concept—exist meaningfully in the digital world?
That’s the question at the heart of this artistic experiment.
